First of all a big thanks to all the members that attended the Annual General Meeting 2010!
A huge thanks to Wolfgang Gebetsroither and Tony le Roux who have resigned from their positions as Chairman and Chief instructor respectively. I’m sure I speak for all the WSC members when I say your hard work and dedication over the last few years is much appreciated.
The WSC committee has been elected as follows:
Chairman - Jason Richardson
Chief Instructor - Ken Elliott
Treasurer - Marlinde Wright
Public Relations officer - Ian Vd Berg
Secretary - Jana Meyer
Equipment - Wolfgang Gebetsroither
DZ Maintenance - Gerry Venter / Eddie Rabie
Congratulations to you all on your elections / re-elections.
Changes to constitution were minimal, basically just tidying up loose ends with the exception of reducing the quorum needed to hold an AGM:
8.13 Changed from a quorum of 20 members to 60% of total members entitled to vote
(Making things easier due to shrinking membership)
9.3 Changed from appointed by Pasa to "approved" by Pasa
(Always been approved never appointed)
13.3 Vacation of office, removed the word "elected" member
(Includes nominated member not performing his/her duties)
